46 days...

The week is off to a great start! I was a little bit of a grumpus this weekend...to Daniel I'd like to apologize for that, & thank him for putting up with me. Yesterday at work I think I complained a little bit too much, so to Amber I would like to say THANK YOU for being my best friend & a great listener! Thanks to Donna, Elizabeth, & Amber for aallll of your help!!! It made yesterday great!

Today is Tuesday...ELECTION DAY!!! I just got back from voting, & I'm very proud of myself. I feel like I'm in the minority with my political views these days, but I had the same opportunity as everyone else did to voice my opinion...& for that, I am grateful. It's kind of funny how filling in some ovals on a sheet of paper can give me such a feeling of pride. I rewarded myself with a Starbucks hot chocolate. It was my first official holiday cup & cup holder from Starbucks, which made me veeery happy! I'm going to try to talk Daniel into getting my Christmas decorations down from the attic this weekend. I always like to put them up early...not to buy into the commercialization of Christmas, but just because I LOVE the feeling I get when I come home to a festive house. The smells, sounds, lights...I just love the holidays! Therefore, I see no reason why I shouldn't start the celebration a little early!

46 days until our wedding. Poor Daniel is just ready for it to be here so we don't have to plan anymore. I'm SO excited about it! A few RSVPs trickle in every day.

With that said, I have a message for my fried Becca...

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight, gonna grab some afternoon delight. My motto's always been when it's right, it's right. Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night. When everything's a little clearer in the light of day, and you know the night is always gonna be there any way. Sky rockets in flight... Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.
Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite, looking forward to a little afternoon delight. Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting. Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Aaaaaaaaafternoon delight!
