The Best of Whats Around: Wedding :)

I finally sat down to scan some wedding pictures into the computer! I could not have asked for a better wedding day. 12.18.10 Three even numbers. It was really, really cold...but I didn't mind, because it kept the snow from melting :) Most of the people you will see in the following pictures we have known since middle school or earlier. They, along with our families, are the people who helped us get together, stay together, & made us into who we are today. Marrying Daniel was the easiest decision I've ever had to make. I had so much fun going through these pictures, trying to pick my favorites to put on here! Please enjoy...

I was so lucky to have my mom with me. She did such a great job helping me to get ready & keeping me calm, cool, & collected that day!

The necklace I wore was a single, round-cut diamond that matched my ring. It belongs to Daniel's grandmother (Gram). It was my "something borrowed."

You see the snowflakes on my dress?? One of my favorite parts! My dress was my "something new," & my garters were "something blue."

Our good friend Phil...He was our class president. Because he was our president, & his name starts with a "P," I made up this name for him: Previous Podiotrist & Prognosticated Present President of the United States of America, Phillip T. Morgan. I've now added Proud Papa to the end of that name! & I had the pleasure of meeting his 3 wk old son today. Loooove him!

My sisters. Merideth on the left, Samantha on the right. My maids of honor. No words to describe how much these 2 mean to me. Gonna cry if I continue...

From left to right: Brett-have been in school with him since kindergarten...started a real friendship in middle school; Josh-a few years older than us, but he & Daniel got to be friends riding motorcycles together; Phil-friends with Ben since kindergarten, merged with us in middle school; Drew-Daniel's younger brother; Tony-met in college when Daniel worked in Lafayette; Ben-best man, met Daniel in elementary school playing Babe Ruth baseball...I used to think I was in love with him lol; Troy-our neighbor...he & Daniel struck up an instant friendship when we moved in 4 years ago.

I put the text below in the wrong spot, so 2nd from the left is Ellen-Daniel's younger sister, & 2nd from right is Melissa-Daniel's youngest sister. She & Samantha have been friends since they were in the same kindergarten class :)

The girls...Samantha-my youngest sister; Jenna-my best friend since middle school...Daniel's mom called Jenna one day & asked her to tutor Daniel in algebra, that's when he & I started getting close (just as friends then!)...you should also know that Daniel & Jenna made a pact that if neither of them was married by our 10 year high school reunion, they would marry each other...we were marriend exactly 3 months apart :) Merideth-my middle sister; Sarah from Battleground-she was dating Tony (see above) when we met years ago...fell in love with her instantly.

I love how crisp this picture is...clear blue sky, snowy ground, & some good lookin' back sides!
